1. Always Wear Your Mask
Your mask is your most important piece of gear. It must stay on at all times when you’re in the game area. Our staff ensures all players wear approved paintball goggles to protect eyes, ears, and face.
2. Use Barrel Covers Off the Field
When you’re not in play, use your barrel sock or barrel plug. This prevents accidental firing in staging or rest areas. It’s a simple step that keeps everyone safe.
3. Follow Referee Instructions
Our trained referees are there to keep the game safe and fair. Always listen to their briefings, callouts, and rule explanations before each match—especially if you’re new.
4. Wear the Right Clothing
Wear long sleeves, gloves, and pants to protect your skin from direct hits. Padding isn’t necessary, but layers add comfort and protection for first-timers.
5. Respect the Surrender Rule
If you get close to an opponent (usually under 10 feet), use the surrender call instead of shooting. This avoids close-range shots that might sting more.
6. Hydrate and Take Breaks
Paintball is physically demanding. In the North Carolina and South Carolina heat, it’s important to drink water and rest between games to stay sharp and safe.
7. Check Your Equipment
